The premiere red wine glass of the Sommeliers collection debuted in Florence, Italy in June of 1991 to much acclaim. The shape of the glass brings out the Chianti bouquet of cherry and bitter almonds. The glass is often associated with Zinfandel and Chianti, but is also appropriate for Ajaccio, Bardolino, Primitivo, and Sangiovese, to name a few.
If you prefer to unwind with a glass of single malt whiskey, we recommend Riedel whiskey glasses. Each whiskey glass has an elongated thistle shape, truncated stem, and a slightly out-turned lip. The aforementioned design elements bring out the creaminess and unique flavors of single malt whiskey.
The Sommeliers collection is also an excellent source for burgundy wine glasses. The Chablis/Chardonnay glass is fine tuned to present wines from the Burgundy region.
